kids today google, not giggle. they play angry birds instead of getting angry AT birds. they all have an ipad but no iq. not even one. they playstation but they never play station. i.e. one pretending to be a train and the others pretending to be different trains or low paid maintenance workers. they’re obsessed with one direction, rather than enjoying all eight directions equally. facebook… but unable to face… a book. or a hoop with a stick. a lost generation. the tv show.

I think I saw my dad last night. For eight years I’ve thought about what I would do if & when I saw him. Let me just say, thinking & actually being in the situation are so different. All I managed to ask was if he lived in the area long because he looked familiar. I won’t get my hopes up though. The chances of seeing him last night are one in a million but how many people have I met in the last 8 years? Maybe a million.

I gave up on finding you, dad. But if that was you, it was so nice to see that yr doing better & I’ll pray for you in yr recovery.
